Das Team Informationssicherheit hat zusammen mit den RZ folgende Maßnahme präventiv beschlossen:

Aufgrund kritischer Schwachstellen in PHP, die laut neusten Informationen bereits aktiv ausgenutzt werden, werden Zugriffe auf Web-basierte Dienste eingeschränkt. Das betrifft u.a. die Hochschulwebseiten, eduVPN, Stud.IP u.a.

Es ist für den späten Nachmittag ein Patch angekündigt. Wir hoffen diesen zeitnah einspielen zu können. Auf Grund der vielen betroffenen Systeme, wird das jedoch eine gewisse Zeit in Anspruch nehmen.

Es handelt sich um eine PRÄVENTIV-Maßnahme, für die wir um Verständnis bitten.

The Information Security Team, in collaboration with the Data Centers, has decided to implement the following preventive measure:

Due to critical vulnerabilities in PHP - which, according to the latest information, are already being actively exploited - access to web-based services will be restricted. This affects, among others, the university websites, eduVPN, Stud.IP, and others.

A patch has been announced for late this afternoon. We hope to deploy it as soon as possible. However, due to the large number of affected systems, this will take some time.

This is a PREVENTIVE measure, and we appreciate your understanding.
